CEMA online: New Tools

Visit our redesigned our Web site-you'll find links, shared ideas, maybe even a job.

How many trade shows can one person handle? Tough question, but one that many of the members of the Computer Event Marketing Association have something to say about. Or so it seems from the feedback we received when that question went up on the "Ask CEMA" area of our newly redesigned Web site (www.cemaonline.com). One of CEMA's primary goals for the new site is to foster an educational environment in which members have the opportunity to share ideas, suggestions, and experiences. With the "Ask CEMA" feature, members are able to post questions, anticipating answers from their peers.

We redesigned our site to make it more of a resource tool and educational guide, and to build our CEMA community. Another exciting new feature we've created to meet those objectives is our industry job bank. The IT events industry is constantly re-inventing itself, and because of this, CEMA members view the job bank as an indispensable tool to further their careers. Interested in a post as marcom coordinator in the Chicago area? How about as a project manager in San Jose? Those are among the postings online in early October. The job bank allows visitors to view and post job openings as well as to create a company profile. And it's all free to CEMA members.

Click around our site and you'll also find a comprehensive list of three dozen links to online resources, including event calendars, associations, venue search engines and other planning tools, industry publications, even weather sites. Our site offers CEMA members virtually all services online, including the association newsletter, The Communicator, and an online membership application.

I encourage you to point your browser to www.cemaonline.com and see firsthand what our association has to offer.
