Mark D. Tunney, CMP, has been appointed vice president of sales at the Chicago office of SeminarSource.com, a provider of e-commerce solutions for the convention and meeting industry. Tunney previously served as director of marketing for the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Sandy Chapin has also joined the Chicago office, as a national sales manager. She was formerly with the National Safety Council, where she was sales and marketing manager for its annual convention. Additionally, Theresa M. DeConinck has been appointed eastern regional manager of the company's new Washington, D.C., office. She has served as associate director of sales at Hyatt Hotels and Resorts' Washington national sales office.
Robin Rust Knigge has joined the Nth Degree sales team, based in Seattle. Rust has more than eight years of experience in the trade show and event industry, including over three years at Promotion Products, Inc., where she supported Microsoft and its trade show program. Nth Degree provides management and onsite services for trade shows and events.
Reed Exhibition Companies North America has appointed Richard (Rick) White as president and CEO. He had served as general manager of subsidiary brands for Nike.
At the Sheraton Boston Hotel, MaryGrace McCaffrey has joined as director of group and convention sales. McCaffrey was previously New England area director of sales and marketing for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.
Cathy Kretz has been appointed convention sales manager for the Portland Oregon Visitors Association. Kretz most recently served as group sales manager for The Resort at The Mountain in Oregon's Mount Hood area.
