PGI Growth Spurt
PGI, the event and communications agency, headquartered in Arlington, Va., wants to grow its events business. C.B. Wismar, one of the company's founders, has been appointed executive vice president in charge of developing proprietary events and expanding ownership interests in exhibitions.
PGI has a new service, too: high-level security for events worldwide. PGI International Security's chief is a former assistant director with the FBI, Anthony Daniels.
And, PGI has opened two new offices, one in New Orleans, coinciding with the acquisition of Pete Fountain Productions/Bravo Special Events; and the other in Los Angeles. Working from the LA office will be Don Moss, national vice president of creative services, and Bob McPhee and Tom Picard, who will co-manage the office.
