Intertec Publishing, the business-to-business publishing unit of Primedia Inc. (NYSE:PRM), has acquired Technology Meetings and five other meetings group magazines, as well as the Web site, MeetingsNet.com, from Adams Business Media. The other acquired publications, based in Maynard, Mass., are Association Meetings, Corporate Meetings & Incentives, Medical Meetings, Insurance Conference Planner, and Religious Conference Manager.

The Meetings Group is now part of Intertec's Marketing Division, led by Vice President Jeff Reinhardt, and Kerry J. Smith is the new group publisher. Leading products in the division, based in Stamford, Conn., include Folio:, PROMO, American Demographics, and Direct. The MeetingsNet.com Web site will be part of Primedia's IndustryClick community of Web sites.
