Write About Us? I am with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, producer/manager of about 20 expositions and more than 400 conferences and clinics annually. One of these larger events focuses on information technologies that impact the manufacturing enterprise, Computer Technology Solutions (formerly AUTOFACT).
The world of trade shows and meetings can no longer be the shopping mall of the past, with the explosion of quick information resources such as the Internet. It is important to capture end users with new features and benefits. For example, we've added free hands-on training and technology demonstrations and an entire conference restructured to help end users find those sessions that apply to their job functions. This adds depth to our side-by-side comparison of vendors, their products and services.
This event continues to evolve. I feel its progress as well as its roots have the making of an interesting feature for your publication.

Received a complimentary copy of your magazine--the timing couldn't be better! I was just told today that we are assuming all the responsibility of coordinating our company's User Group meetings next year.

Love the premiere issue of TM. It's definitely user-friendly and I guarantee you that meeting professionals will benefit from Technology Meetings. Congratulations!

One of my meeting planning companies was kind enough to share your premier issue.
One aspect that really stood out in my mind is that although your advertising sales team did a bang up job of selling to West Coast suppliers so they have great representation, neither your article contributors nor your advisory board reflect that same representation. There are a few high-tech companies west of Route 128.
Certainly eager to see upcoming issues.

Maybe this issue's cover story will reassure you that while we may be eccentric, we're not East-centric.
