Universal Orlando Resort
The Simpsons Ride, based on the television show, is new this year and reached 1 million riders faster than any ride in resort history. And this summer saw the debut of the new Dr. Seuss-themed Kids' Suites at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando.
The designers created the suites to be an immersive, larger-than-life experience that complements the Seuss-themed rides at nearby Islands of Adventure theme park, part of Universal Studios.
The two-room suites offer a king bedroom for the adults and two twin-sized beds in the children's portion of the suite. Parents appreciate the feature that allows access from the children's room into the adult's room and not into the hallway.
Loews Portofino Bay Hotel has two themed sister on-site properties, the Loews Royal Pacific Resort and the Hard Rock Hotel, both just a brief walk to the theme parks and CityWalk. Hotel guests receive complimentary Universal Express ride access just by showing their valid hotel room key card.
