Canadian Pacific Launches Program to Benefit Women
The Canadian Pacific hotel company has launched its "Adopt-a-Shelter" program, in which each of the company's hotels has "adopted" a local women's shelter by donating goods and services. In addition to furniture, bedding, and other household items, the shelters will receive financial support through the Canadian Pacific Charitable Foundation, which will donate $150,000 over the next three years to the Canadian Women's Foundation for distribution to women's shelters.
Canadian Pacific Hotels is the largest owner-operated hotel company in Canada, with 26 properties.
