The Holiday Inn Golf and Conference Center in Staunton, VA, has appointed Joe Grandstaff director of sales. Most recently, he was director of marketing for the Museum of American Frontier Culture, also in Staunton.

Wendy Cocanougher has been named director of sales and marketing at the Holiday Inn Hurstbourne in Louisville, KY. She joins from the Radisson Plaza Hotel, in Lexington, KY, where she was director of sales.

The Atlanta Hilton & Towers Hotel has appointed Michael K. Schugt director of sales and marketing. He was formerly associate director of sales and marketing at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.

Gail Gerber has been appointed associate director of sales at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, VA. She had been director of sales at the Radisson Plaza Lord Baltimore.

Brian Jago has joined the Century Plaza Hotel and Tower in Los Angeles as director of group sales. Previously, he was associate director of sales with the Boca Raton Resort in Florida.

Jennifer Maria Guzzardi has joined as sales manager. Guzzardi, who had been assistant director of sales at the Los Angeles Airport Hilton and Towers, will handle association clients in New York and DC.

Lee Conklin has been promoted to sales manager at the Marriott at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Lee, who will handle associations, had been executive meeting manager.
