Downtown Indianapolis has undergone a makeover in the past 10 years, and the result is a sparkling destination. Attractions include the newly expanded convention center; seven full-service hotels connected by skyway to the convention center, the RCA Dome, shopping, restaurants, museums, the zoo, the state capitol, entertainment options galore, and a state park.

And then there's the full-service, upscale, 615-room Indianapolis Marriott Downtown. The new Marriott, Indiana's largest hotel, celebrated its grand opening in April. Meeting facilities at the hotel include 40,000 square feet of meeting space with 31 meeting rooms. One highlight is the 21,000-square-foot Marriott Ballroom, which is divisible into 10 sections and can hold 2,500 people for receptions and 1,800 for banquets. The 8,320-square-foot Indiana Ballroom is also a classy feature. The Marriott is across from the Convention Center/RCA Dome complex.
