Meet at Saddlebrook, Get Healthy
How much does stress affect your life and work? What roles do diet and exercise play? Renowned psychoneuro-immunologist Dr. Nick Hall will help meeting attendees answer those questions through activities and seminars at the new Wellness Center at Saddlebrook Resort & Spa in Tampa, Fla. Hall, a pioneer researcher on the relationship between emotions and health, is joining the resort as director of the center. His work has been featured on "60 Minutes," "Nova," and "Healing and the Mind," an Emmy Award-winning series produced by Bill Moyers for PBS.
Also at Saddlebrook, a renovation and expansion project is under way to add 22,000 square feet of meeting space (for more than 80,000 square feet total) and redo 415 suites and 130 rooms. A new, freestanding building next to the Royal Palm Ballroom will house the 18,000-square-foot Grand Pavilion, to accommodate exhibits and banquets--or even convert to parking space. Saddlebrook has two golf courses, 45 tennis courts, a spa, and the Arnold Palmer Golf Academy.
