The Convention Liaison Council is anything but modest about its just-announced golf tournament: the Prestigious CIC Cup. It's likely, however, that the three-day event coming up in November will fit the description. Each of the 30 CIC member organizations — including Meeting Professionals International, the Society of Incentive and Travel Executives, and the Insurance Conference Planners Association — has been invited to enter one or two two-person teams, a rarely convened cross-section of the meeting and hospitality industry. Sponsor teams will also be involved.
