Upgrades and Expansions
The expanded Adam's Mark Denver opened in late August, now ranking as the largest meeting property in Colorado. The 1,225-room convention property has 125,000 square feet of meeting space, including three ballrooms, 50 meeting rooms, and space for 148 exhibit booths.
This fall, Pinehurst (NC) Resort & Country Club acquired the 102-year-old Holly Inn in the Village of Pinehurst, expanding the resort's lodging options by 45 rooms and 30 suites. A restoration of the historic inn will be completed over the next year and a half.
In Panama City, FL, construction began in September on the Boardwalk Beach Resort's new conference center, which will host up to 1,800 persons theater-style when it opens in April. The resort, a collection of four affordable beachfront properties, offers a total of 625 guest rooms.
The Inn at Loretto in Santa Fe, NM, has changed its name to Hotel Loretto after finishing a multimillion dollar renovation.
