Scypinski, Shea Join ConferenceDirect
Two hotel industry veterans, Dave Scypinski and Fred Shea, have recently joined meeting planning company ConferenceDirect as senior vice presidents.
Scypinki joined ConferenceDirect in January from Starwood Hotels and Resorts, where he was senior vice president, industry relations. Scypinski serves on the boards of both Meeting Professionals International and the U.S. Travel Association. He works out of the company’s Washington, D.C., office.
Shea, who was the vice president of sales for Hyatt Hotels North America, joined ConferenceDirect in late November of last year. He works out of the Chicago office.
Both Scypinski and Shea serve in business development roles at the company.
