IMEX Introduces Measurement Track

IMEX, the worldwide exhibition for incentive travel, meetings, and events, is introducing Meetings Under the Microscope, a series of 10 free workshops designed to give attendees a fast-track understanding of current best practices and meeting measurement strategies at this year’s event, May 26–28, in Frankfurt, Germany.

Workshops will address topics such as meeting content and audience engagement, managing emotional states and the psychology of learning, meeting environments, communications, and preparation management.

The line-up of speakers includes Maarten Vanneste, author of Meeting Architecture, a Manifesto; Holger Scholz, a certified professional facilitator; and Jon Bradshaw, human performance consultant.

In addition, IMEX has announced a full program of educational sessions and roundtable discussions for its Association Day, which will be held the day before the IMEX exhibition opens, on Monday, May 25.

Some 250 association executives of the 800 who attend the show are expected to attend Association Day. Elliott Masie, futurist, analyst, researcher, and humorist, and head of The Masie Center Think Tank, will present, as will Rohit Talwar, CEO of Fast Future, a trends company, who will examine how creativity can be exploited when budgets are under pressure.
