New Event Management Course

Dallas-based International Association for Exposition Management (IAEM) has partnered with George Washington University (GWU), based in Washington, D.C., to offer the association’s first certificate in Event Management.

Program participants who complete each of the four core courses are awarded an IAEM Certificate of Event Management. Those who complete the four core course, plus three electives, and a 50-hour practicum qualify to receive a Professional Certificate in Event Management with a concentration in exhibition management, jointly presented by IAEM and GWU, which offers one of the country’s leading graducate-level education programs in event management.

Several of the core courses are being presented at the upcoming IAEM annual meeting in Chicago, December 4-7, Chicago. Additional courses will be offered at future meetings. For more information on the program, contact Kip Eads at keads@iaem.org
