PCMA Foundation Names Grant Recipients
The Professional Convention Management Association Education Foundation has awarded $132,500 in grants for research and education projects. The Center for Exhibition Industry Research received two grants; one is for the development of a return-on-investment calculator, the other is to identify events that have successfully retained major exhibitors and those that have experienced the loss of a major exhibitor.
Another grant went to the Green Meeting Industry Council to establish several regional programs across the country to teach planners about how to hold environmentally responsible events. The fourth grant went to PCMA to establish a research strategy that will help position PCMA as an education leader for meeting professionals.
Applications for PCMA Education Foundation grants are accepted three times a year. Upcoming deadlines are March 31, August 31, and November 30. For more information, click here.
