PCMA Honors Freeman
The Professional Convention Management Association, meeting in Toronto this week for its 51st Annual Meeting, honored Donald S. Freeman Jr., CEO and chairman of the board of Dallas-based Freeman, with its 2006 Distinguished Member Award. The award recognizes outstanding overall industry achievement and contributions to the association.
Freeman, a PCMA member since 1964, has served as chairman of the PCMA Education Foundation and in numerous other volunteer capacities. He has also been active with the Exhibit Designers and Producers Association, International Association for Exhibitions and Events, and the Center for Exhibition Industry Research. In 1993, Freeman was inducted into the Convention Industry Council's Hall of Leaders.
