1. If you could be anywhere in the world, where would you be?

   Sri Lanka

2. If you could be a superhero, what superpower would you want?

   The ability to cure cancer

3. It's time for a second career — what do you choose?

   Manage an orphanage in Sri Lanka

4. What is your favorite cause/charity?

   I have many. In the past I have volunteered or supported Special Olympics and Children's Hospital, and donated my teaching salary (from Temple University School of Tourism and Hospitality) to various scholarships.

5. When your life story is made into a movie, who should they cast as you?

   Paul Newman

6. What's your hidden talent?

   I'm a patient, caring teacher.

7. How do you strike a balance between work and your personal life?

   This is a challenge, because my work is my passion — I don't think of it as a job. However, ever since I got married, it has been lot easier to create balance.

8. Who inspires you?

   My father and my mother

9. What do you do to stay healthy?

   My wife is in charge of this department. She makes wonderful, healthful meals and encourages me to exercise.

10. What is your greatest strength?

    The ability to get the job done right

11. If you could go back in time, what would you change about your life?

    I would have liked to have had kids and a family earlier in my life.
