Highlights
A preview of this month's 2009 Motivation Show

The theme of the incentive industry's major show is also its newest buzzword: engagement. The Motivation Show runs September 29 to October 1, at McCormick Place, Chicago, with the program theme “Engineering Engagement: Connecting Employee Engagement, Customer Loyalty, and Financial Results.” New this year: an Engagement Pavilion, with exhibitors focused on customer and employee engagement strategies.

In addition, partnerships with Loyalty 360, the Loyalty Marketer's Association, and the nonprofit Winning Workplaces, will give attendees more opportunities to learn about engagement. Winning Workplaces' Annual Conference, “The ROI of Great Workplaces,” will be co-located at McCormick, October 1-2. Each year, Winning Workplaces collaborates with The Wall Street Journal to identify 15 top small workplaces across North America. Loyalty 360 will offer several programs on customer loyalty and will exhibit in the Engagement Pavilion.

Visit CMI at the Show

This year, you can find Corporate Meetings & Incentives at Booth 3428. Monday night, before the show, CMI editors will honor the CMI 25 winners at a private party at Fulton's on the River. Then on Tuesday, join Editor Barbara Scofidio as she hosts the “Thought-Leaders Panel: Strategic Meetings Management in Challenging Economic Times,”? from 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., featuring Tamara Gordon, global travel and meetings manager, UnitedHealth Group; and Kate Demarest Lastinger, CMM, CMP, founding partner, Metaphrasis Group.

Other News

New this year, the Incentive Manufacturers and Representatives Alliance Cafe will provide a comfortable setting for lunch, located right near the exhibits. By purchasing a ticket in advance, you can also skip the long lines at the cashier.
