At the 2008 LexisNexis Global Leadership Summit in New Orleans in April, 180 of the company's top global executives took time out from their meeting to participate in a service project at St. Bernard's Community Playground, an area devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Working with event partner TBA Global, the group sealed wooden structures and fencing, planted new landscaping, painted playground equipment, and cleared debris to help restore the park.
