CHANGING FACES Brenda Weskamp has been named general manager of the Scottsdale Conference Resort. Weskamp most recently served as director of operations for Promus Hotel Corporation in Phoenix, Ariz., where she oversaw the acquisition, renovation, and repositioning of 11 managed hotels to better serve the corporate market. A 20-year hospitality veteran, Weskamp also served as general manager for the Doubletree Guest Suites in Houston, Texas, and the Doubletree Inn at the Colonnade in Baltimore, Md. She replaces Richard Joaquim.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has appointed Timothy Rector as regional vice president of sales for the company's off-shore resorts division. Rector will be based in Miami and will oversee nine resort properties throughout the Caribbean and Mexico. Most recently he served as director of sales for Starwood Hotels & Resorts and was based in the Chicago Global Sales Office.
PGI Inc., the international event and communications agency, announced the addition of Kelly Cronin to PGI Atlanta as account executive for the Coca-Cola Co. account team. McMorrow was recently an incentive meeting planner with a Wall Street financial services firm. She held her first position in the meetings industry as an intern at The Arrangers Inc. in 1994 while pursuing her MBA at the University of Denver.
Resort Meetings Consortium, located in Cherry Hill, N.J., appointed Rina Agriss regional director of sales. Agriss formerly served as the national sales manager for Hotel Del Coronado in Coronado, Calif.
Philadelphia-based Starcite Inc., an Internet-based business-to-business e-commerce meeting marketplace, has hired Ray Dorman as vice president of business development. Most recently, Dorman served as vice president, rewards planning and partnering, at Marriott International, where he was responsible for the firm's frequency marketing program.
Sharon Gallagher has joined Concepts Worldwide as vice president of sales. Headquartered in San Diego, Concepts Worldwide is a full service meeting management firm. Most recently, Gallagher was director of Custom Solutions for Ziff Davis Market Intelligence.
Nathaniel B. Waldron was appointed director of conference services for The AT Learning Center, which is located in Basking Ridge, N.J. He was previously the senior conference planner for the Center, and before joining AT, was senior conference planner at the Forrestal in Princeton, N.J.
David C. Scypinski, who was previously vice president, industry relations, for Hilton Hotels Corp., has been tapped by Starwood Hotels and Resorts as its new senior vice president, industry relations. Scypinski, who has been with Hilton for more than 20 years, remains based in Washington, D.C.
