The News: A new Isleta Hotel and Convention Center is connected to the 300,000-square-foot casino. The on-site Isleta Eagle Golf Course has 27 holes and an all-new clubhouse with banquet rooms and golf shop.
Specs: More than 200 rooms and suites and 30,000 square feet of ballroom and meeting space
Timeline: Opened in July 2008.
La Quinta Resort & Club - PGA West
La Quinta, Calif.
The News: The resort has completed an extensive renovation to its par-72, Mountain Golf Course at the end of 2006. A new golf course clubhouse is scheduled to be complete in summer 2009.
Specs: 796 guest rooms and suites with private patios and high-speed Internet access, more than 66,000 square feet of meeting space, 23,000-square-foot spa, five championship golf courses, Jim McLean Golf School, and eight restaurants
Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village
St. Augustine, Fla.
The News: A $10 million renovation wrapped up in May.
Specs: 301 remodeled guest rooms; two championship golf courses; the PGA Tour Spa Laterra; the PGA Tour Golf Academy; and 86,000 square feet of meeting and event space when combined with the adjoining St. Johns County Convention Center and the adjacent World Golf Hall of Fame
Ocean Edge Resort & Club
Brewster, Mass.
The News: The resort's Bayside Ballroom is scheduled for completion in March 2009, as part of a near $20 million renovation and will add 5,000 square feet of space. The Nicklaus-designed 18-hole golf course was completed in May 2008.
Specs: The Cape Cod property features a 700-square-foot private beach, 335 guest rooms, four restaurants, fitness center, 15,000 square feet of meeting space in 13 meeting rooms.
Extra: Originally built in 1890, the historic Nickerson Mansion and Carriage House is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and is the centerpiece of the resort.
Mount Washington Resort
Bretton Woods, N.H.
The News: A 25,000-square-foot spa with 13 treatment rooms is under construction, along with 30,000 square feet of meeting space. A $7 million renovation of the resort's two golf courses is under way. The 18-hole Mount Washington Course is being restored to its original Donald Ross design and is scheduled to open in August. A nine-hole expansion to the Mount Pleasant Course is set to open in 2011.
Timeline: The spa and meeting center will debut in December 2008.
The Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa
Rancho Mirage, Calif.
The News: A $20 million renovation of guest rooms and public spaces completed in September 2008.
Specs: 512 guest rooms, 44 meeting spaces, 14,000-square-foot Spa at Mission Hills, 95,000 square feet of meeting space, and two 18-hole, championship golf courses (one designed by Gary Player, the other by Pete Dye)
Extra: Spouse programs are available for partners of those attending meetings at the resort.
Wyndham St. Croix Golf Resort and Casino
Christiansted, St. Croix, USVI
The News: This 400-room resort will be the keystone of a $250 million complex that includes a new 43,000-square-foot conference center.
Specs: 25,000-square-foot casino, an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, a 17,000-square-foot spa and fitness center

Grand Bahama Island
The News: The resort is offering meeting planners free greens fees for meetings booked by the end of the year and redeemed by December 2009. Golfers also get preferential tee times at both of Our Lucaya's 18-hole, par-72 courses.
Specs: 50,000 square feet of outdoor function space, 40,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, and a total of 1,218 guest rooms and suites including 740 rooms at the Westin and 478 rooms at the Sheraton
