It's the first all-inclusive for Puerto Rico and a boon for planners. The 490-room Paradisus Puerto Rico Beach and Golf Resort, a Sol Meliá property, is slated to open in January 2004 in Rio Grande, on Puerto Rico's northeastern coast. Rooms are in 30 two-story bungalows, each with lush, walled gardens with a private terrace and swimming pool. Golfers will find plenty to love on the resort's two courses, and gamers will enjoy the casino. Planners will note the convention center with seven meeting rooms, including a grand ballroom for as many as 800 people.
