David Byrne, the former lead singer of the Talking Heads, has actually found a way to make PowerPoint, well, cool. His new book and DVD, “Envisioning Emotional Epistemological Information” (Steidl & Pace/MacGill Gallery 2003), is a coffee table volume of images created by Byrne using PowerPoint software. The DVD plays five of Byrnes' PowerPoint creations, accompanied by original music.
