Wine Club Memberships
If you're looking for a gift that incentive winners or top customers will actually use, consider a wine club membership. As an added bonus, recipients are reminded of you each month when their wines arrive.
The California Wine Club is among the most established. Its focus is on wines from smaller wineries, which are produced in limited quantities. The club, which was started in 1990 by Bruce and Pam Boring, has grown to more than 20,000 members.
An entry-level membership costs $32.95 per month plus shipping and includes two bottles and a subscription to the wine magazine Uncorked. The highest-level membership features a monthly shipment of two to four hand-picked bottles with detailed tasting notes, for a monthly cost between $150 and $225. www.cawineclub.com
