Take 5
IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD YOU BE? As long as I'm with my family, it really doesn't matter where I am. Seeing things through my kids' eyes is priceless. I personally like exploring developing countries.
WHAT'S PLAYING ON YOUR IPOD? Music from Buddha Bar — perfect chill-out music that really relaxes me.
IT'S TIME FOR A SECOND CAREER — WHAT DO YOU CHOOSE? I'd consult with CVBs and developing countries on how to promote and develop incentive travel. There are so many destinations that can benefit from the incentive travel marketplace but don't know how to establish their infrastructure.
WHAT'S THE BEST BOOK YOU READ IN THE PAST YEAR? Thomas Friedman's The World Is Flat: A Brief History of the Twenty-First Century. It's a very insightful look at outsourcing and its mark on the economy.
IF YOU COULD TRADE PLACES WITH ANYONE (LIVING OR FROM HISTORY) FOR A WEEK, WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE? I value mentoring, so I would trade with someone who could benefit from sharing what I have achieved so far in my life and perhaps I, too, would be more tolerant of those less fortunate. We both would grow from this exchange.
