Meeting Professionals International canceled its Power of the Partnership event planned for this month because of an inability to get supplier sponsorships in place, according to MPI Chairwoman and Maritz Travel Co. CEO Christine Duffy. The invitation-only meeting was supposed to bring together senior meeting planners with high-powered corporate, hospitality, CVB, and other meeting industry executives.
