Lush Life
Whether it's a pear-and-sugarcane scrub in Jamaica, a cranberry body treatment on Nantucket, or a coffee scrub in Hawaii, a “signature” or “specialty” spa treatment is a great way for attendees to get a feel for your meeting's destination.
On Nantucket Island in Massachusetts, Wauwinet's Spa by the Sea offers its signature Cranberry Crush Body Treatment: a blend of New England cranberries, organic raw cane sugar, and a hint of orange to tone and exfoliate. The finish is an application of sunflower, apricot, and golden jojoba oils infused with rosehips. Ahhhhh!
Maui's Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa offers the island's only oceanfront spa. One favorite with both sexes is the Ka'anapali Coffee scrub, which uses, naturally, ground coffee beans; another is the Cocoa Butter Bliss Massage.
At the Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort, Rose Hall, Jamaica, drink a soothing cup of pear and green apple tea, and then lie back and relax while your therapist uses a mixture of pear and organic sugarcane to exfoliate your skin. If you've spent a little too much time on the beach, book an Island Aloe Cool Wrap. It calms sunburned skin with aloe and tea tree gel, followed by a cooling wrap of iced linens.
