Name the Suite at Lake Lawn Resort
Courtesy of Lake Lawn Resort, Delavan, Wis., comes an opportunity for planners to have their names go down in history. In the resort's “Name the Suite” contest, planners send in design ideas for the hospitality suites that will be added as part of the property's $390 million expansion. The winners, judged to have the best design ideas, will be flown in to work with designers to create the suite, have the suite named after them, and receive a free weekend getaway.
“The contest has really taken off,” says Scott Blakeslee, director of sales and marketing at the resort, who came up with the idea. So far, he has received hundreds of entries and suggestions ranging from creating a full chef's kitchen to installing a mini-pool. For more information, call (800) 338-5253 or send an e-mail to Jackie Hayes at jhayes@lakelawnresort.com. The deadline is May 15, so don't wait.
