The Motivation Show — the meeting and incentive industry's biggest trade show — just got bigger. This year's event, to be held September 26-28 at McCormick Place South in Chicago, will include the first national conference on People Performance Management. Presented by the Forum for People Performance Management and Measurement at Northwestern University and co-sponsored by Corporate Meetings & Incentives, the forum will take place September 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Speakers including Steve Kent, CFA, Goldman, Sachs & Co.; Penny Stoker, vice president, human resources, AstraZeneca; and Susan Clark McBride, senior director, system communications, McDonald's Corp., will discuss how they improved business performance by integrating external and internal marketing.
Other Motivation Show highlights will include the National Association of Employee Recognition's Excellence in Recognition Fall Summit, to be held September 26 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (for more information, visit www.recognition.org) and the Promotion Marketing Association's Integrated Marketing Summit, which also will be held September 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (www.pmalink.org). Also September 26, from 1 to 4 p.m., will be the Incentive Marketing Association's Principles of Results Based Incentive Program Design program (www.incentivemarketing.org).
