CEMA Summit in the Mountains
Information technology is arguably the industry that takes event marketing to its most sophisticated level. From creative partnering at proprietary events, to the push for independent audit of exhibitions, to the high standards for connectivity at meeting facilities, IT companies take meetings seriously. The organization that supports these efforts, the Computer Event Marketing Association, Coal Center, Pa., will host its annual Summit July 11-13 at the Canyons Resort, Park City, Utah.
Content at the Summit has moved away from the logistical, focusing strictly on the strategic, says CEMA executive director Trinette Cunningham, citing sessions such as “Next Generation of Event Marketing — Trends That Are Changing Industry Expectations,” “The Great Debate: The Direction of Technology Events,” and “Turning Measurement into IT Event Strategy.”
Summit keynoters will include James Gilmore, co-author of The Experience Economy. For details, visit CEMA online at www.cemasummit.com.
