William Scott Worsham, CMP, has been named director of golf for the Westin Rio Mar Beach Resort & Country Club in Puerto Rico. He will handle the sales and marketing for the resort's two courses: the Tom and George Fazio-designed Ocean Course and the new Greg Norman-designed Rover Course. He was previously senior sales manager at Walt Disney World Resort.
James McAfee has been named director of golf at the Melia Playa Conchal Beach & Golf Resort's Conchal Golf Course in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.
JR Ross has been promoted to director of golf at the Chateau Elan Resort 30 minutes north of Atlanta, which has three championship courses and one nine-hole walking course. Ross will oversee the entire golf operation.
Brad Nye and Irene Scerine were recently named golf sales managers at Nordic Hills Resort in Itasca and Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale, Ill.
