Maritz Inc. has named Christine Duffy president and chief executive officer of Maritz Travel, a business unit of the Fenton, Mo. — based company specializing in meetings, events, and incentive travel management. Duffy had been president and chief operating officer of Maritz McGettigan, which was acquired by Maritz in 2001. Duffy has more than 20 years' experience in the travel industry, and is chairwoman-elect of Meeting Professionals International's international board of directors. She has also served MPI as chairwoman of the Women's Leadership Initiative and chairwoman of the MPI Recognition Task Force.
