East Coast Safari
You don't have to take your incentive winners all the way to Africa for a safari experience — just to Central Florida. At Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom, the new Wayana Safari Experience lets guests enter the animal reserve and get close-up and personal with big game, including giraffe, zebra, and wildebeest. Pop-top vehicles seat up to eight persons each. The trip is topped off with a traditional South African Sundowner — fresh-squeezed guava/pineapple juice, dried beef, figs, and nuts.
The 3.5-hour trip includes dinner at the Animal Kingdom Lodge's South African restaurant, Jiko — where the experience is anything but roughing it. South African wines are paired with each course, and entrees include oak-roasted filet of beef and chermoula-basted chicken. The cost is $150 per person, for up to eight people. For reservations, call (407) 938-4755.
