What better way for achievers to experience the Emerald Isle than by visiting Dublin on March 17, just in time for the Irish celebration of St. Patrick's day? "It's a big party with a little bit of everything thrown in the mix," says George Kling of Potential Profits Group Inc., in Branford, Conn., who held a St. Patrick's incentive travel program in Ireland for suppliers of premium incentive products. Surprisingly, up until about three years ago, Dublin was quiet on St. Patrick's day: Even the pubs were closed. Now, a lively festival begins the night before with a Mayor's ball, and there's dancing and singing on the streets all day long. The revelry culminates with a four-hour Mardi Gras-type parade.
