A new service started in June by two New Hampshire entrepreneurs takes baggage worries off incentive winners' backs.
With Skybrations, planners arrange for baggage pickup at winners' homes; bags are transported all the way to the destination hotel (to the rooms, if desired). Winners don't need to worry about having their bags picked apart at security or lugging them through airports. Cost for an average-size, 30-lb. piece of luggage is $50.
According to Skybrations president William Singley, the service is primarily used by busy executives, but it has great potential for incentive planners. “It's very timely, with all the increased hassles of airport security,” he says. Another benefit is for the planner: Skybrations can be booked through your travel agency, and the list of participating agencies is growing each day.
