The 364-room Four Seasons Hotel New York completed a $5 million redesign of its spa last fall, overseen by architect Peter Marino. Upon entering, guests encounter a floor-to-ceiling media wall with 15 screens of soothing images. The corridor leading to the treatment rooms has an illuminated glass floor filled with sand to convey a sense of walking on the beach.
