Great Wolf Lodge

Great Wolf Resorts is North America's largest family of indoor waterpark resorts. Its 12 hotel/meeting facility/indoor waterparks are located in Wisconsin Dells, Wis.; Sheboygan, Wis. (under the brand name Blue Harbor Resort); Sandusky, Ohio; Traverse City, Mich.; Kansas City, Kan.; Williamsburg, Va.; Pocono Mountains, Pa.; Niagara Falls, Ontario; Mason, Ohio; Grapevine, Texas; Grand Mound, Wash.; and Charlotte/Concord, N.C.—the newest of the Great Wolf properties, which opened in April 2009.

Each Great Wolf property features 300 to 600 guest rooms and, of course, an indoor waterpark measuring 40,000 to 100,000 square feet and spilling over with swimming, activity, and wave pools; multi-story water slides; rivers; and oversized hot tubs that can accommodate 30 people and more.

Conference facilities include 20,000 square feet of function space in Mason; 16,800 in Sheboygan; 14,500 in Williamsburg; 8,500 in Charlotte/Concord; 7,500 in Niagara Falls; 6,000 in Traverse City; 5,400 in Wisconsin Dells; 4,500 in each of the Poconos and Sandusky; and 3,800 in Kansas City. In addition to meeting catering, most properties offer a Camp Critter Bar & Grille; the Loose Moose Cottage family-themed restaurant and bar; Elements Spa Salon; Northern Lights Arcade; a fitness room; and tech center.

Through Great Wolf Resorts' environmental sustainability program, Project Green Wolf™, the company has all its U.S. properties Green Seal™ Silver Certified.  —Bob Feinberg
