New Look for Site, New Leadership at iSite

For the first time in many years, Site (formerly known as the Society of Incentive & Travel Executives) is rebranding, with a new look and message. The logo, which was rolled out at the association’s annual meeting in December and via an early-2009 e-mail campaign, is meant to reflect what Site views as the changing tenets of the incentive industry: global connections, motivational experiences, and business results. The organization’s new mission: “Unleashing human potential through extraordinary motivational experiences.”

In a January 12 letter to members, Site President Patrick Sullivan, president, PRA Destination Management New York, also promised a new webinar for members and a redesigned Web site, both to be kicked off in early 2009.

Also changing is the leadership of the Site International Foundation (iSite), with Alison Summers, managing director of Site, assuming the responsibilities of iSite Executive Director Bob Vitagliano. “I am pleased to take on this new facet with Site, and I’m committed to the goals of the Site International Foundation and the trustees, who are a great representation of our industry,” she told Corporate Meetings & Incentives. Vitagliano, a popular incentive industry leader and former longtime executive director of the association, will remain on contract as a project specialist overseeing research projects.

“I am thrilled Bob has agreed to another year with us, though as a consultant,” added Site Executive Director Brenda Anderson.

The 2009 Site Classic golf tournament, the major fundraiser for the foundation, will take place September 9-12 in Fort Worth, Texas. For more information, contact the Chair, Madelyn Marusa, DMCP, at mmarusa@pra.com
