Starwood’s Convention Service Consultant Program Expands
Starwood Hotels and Resorts recently completed a pilot for its Starwood Convention Service Consultant program and has announced that it will continue the program and expand it to all 33 of its Convention Collection properties.
The role of the convention service consultant is to coordinate booking for meeting planners who move their groups among Convention Collection hotels, the chain’s key meeting properties. The goal is to smooth the booking process by reducing the amount of repetitive paperwork associated with booking a meeting.
Starwood’s Convention Collection encompasses 30,000 guest rooms in North America.
