TSA OKs Toiletries, Liquid Carry-Ons
The Transportation Security Administration made two changes to its airport security policy: Passengers now can bring toiletries that are three ounces or less on board, as long as they fit in a single quart-sized clear plastic zip-top bag. These plastic bags will be X-rayed separately to “allow TSA security officers to more easily examine the declared items,” according to a notice from TSA press room. In addition, passengers now can board with beverages purchased after going through security. The new policy goes into effect September 26.
