White Picked as New San Antonio CVB Director
Scott L. White, who currently serves as the executive vice president of the Greater Phoenix Convention and Visitors Bureau, will become the new director of the San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau as of October 2. He was selected to head the CVB by a panel of tourism and cultural community leaders.
His 20-year career spans various senior executive roles with Renaissance Hotels and Resorts, in addition to his work with the GPCVB.
White replaces Melvin Tennant, who resigned in May 2005 for personal reasons.
