The Pan Pacific Hotel Group has announced it plans to open the Parkroyal in Singapore in 2012. The property will include sustainable features that have earned it a Green Mark Platinum score, Singapore’s highest green rating. Key green features of the hotel include rainwater harvesting; automatic sensors to regulate energy and water use; and solar cells to power landscape lighting.
The Singapore Parkroyal will include a dedicated wellness floor with a day spa, a nature trail and waterfall walk, a pool terrace, and a state-of-the-art gymnasium. The hotel's business center will include full secretarial services.
Located at the gateway to the Central Business District and the Raffles Place financial hub, the 363-room Parkroyal lies close to Chinatown. Waterfront entertainment and restaurant options along the Singapore River are also easily accessible from the hotel.
