InterContinental Hotels Group has relaunched a former Holiday Inn as the Crowne Plaza Hotel & Suites Minneapolis Airport. IHG invested $2 million in upgrading the hotel. The 13-story, 430-room hotel has 18,000 square feet of meeting space, which can be configured into as many as 16 meeting rooms.
All guest rooms and suites have 37-inch LCD flat-panel TVs, microwaves, and refrigerators. The hotel’s Sleep Advantage system includes signature bedding, guaranteed wake-up calls, designated quiet zones, night lights, drape clips, and amenities such as eye masks, earplugs, and lavender spray.
The Crowne Plaza offers a meetings program that includes a two-hour response guarantee, a meetings director, and a daily meetings debrief.
The hotel is located near Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and is eight miles from downtown Minneapolis and the Minneapolis Convention Center. The hotel is the seventh Crowne Plaza in the Minneapolis area.
