Fifteen organizations in Iowa and Illinois have united to promote the mid-Mississippi River Valley region to tourism. The group has launched a new Web site at www.TravelMississippiRiver.org, with a link specifically geared to meeting planners. The new partnership comprises convention and visitors bureaus and chambers of commerce along the river in Iowa and Illinois from Dubuque, Iowa, south to Quincy, Ill.
