Las Vegas’ Bellagio has just unveiled designs for its guest room renovation project. Bellagio began the $70 million remodel in June and anticipates all 2,568 guest rooms in the main tower will be complete by mid-December.
Amenities include a 40-inch mounted flat-screen television, a bedside iHome docking station, a centralized media hub for a variety of digital devices, electrical connections on the bedside lamps, and a laptop safe in one of the nightstands. The new design also includes benches at the end of each bed, brighter lighting in the bedroom and bathroom, a full-length mirror in the foyer, ergonomically designed desk space, and two plush armchairs. Beds have cashmere-covered mattresses designed to provide continuous support and temperature adjustment throughout the sleep cycle.
The remodeled rooms also incorporate environmentally responsible elements, including LED lighting that provides 60 percent greater energy efficiency; organic carpeting primarily made from wool and furniture made from eucalyptus, both renewable resources; a new double towel bar in the bathroom for increased ability to dry and reuse towels; and a 180 percent improvement in air circulation.
The AAA Five Diamond hotel overlooks an eight-acre lake, upon which Bellagio’s fountains are choreographed to music and lights. There is a variety of meeting space available, from the 45,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom and the 30,000-square-foot Tower Ballroom to 6,082 square feet of outdoor space on the Grand Patio and alternative venues including AAA Five Diamond restaurants, ultra lounges, and the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art. Dining options include the AAA Five Diamond restaurants Picasso and Le Cirque. The resort’s retail promenade, Via Bellagio, includes designer shops such as Louis Vuitton, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Tiffany & Co., Prada, Fred Leighton, Chanel, Dior and Fendi. Other attractions include an art gallery, the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, “O” by Cirque du Soleil®, a spa and salon, and a casino.
