Margaret Mitchell House, the Atlanta house where Mitchell wrote Gone With the Wind, offers exhibits that explore her life, the famous novel, and the making of the multiple-Oscar-winning 1939 film. The three-story, Tudor-revival home offers 3,700 square feet of event space, parlor rooms, and covered porches in a courtyard setting with a sunken garden and front lawn. A gallery space is suited for lectures and presentations as well as seated dinners and dancing.
