The Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau hired Keva Washington as executive meetings manager. In this role, Washington sells the destination to small and medium-sized groups in Texas and on the West Coast.
Before joining the bureau, Washington worked at the Grady Cole Center/Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., where she was an operations assistant and handled logistics pertaining to special events. She was also a convention services coordinator with the Columbia (S.C.) Metropolitan CVB.
“Keva’s combined experience as a CVB and event facility professional makes her an invaluable member of our team,” said Rob Hampton, vice president of sales at the Austin CVB.
