Dallas Gets New Crowne Plaza Near the Convention Center

In October 2009, the Hampton Inn Dallas-West End-Convention Center became the Crowne Plaza Dallas Downtown after a $14 million upgrade. Renovations were done to all 300 of the guest rooms and suites. The new owners also added 22 new meeting rooms, the TEN15 Elm restaurant, and a nightclub. The hotel features meeting and exhibition space accommodating groups of up to 2,000 people. The property is a short walk from the Dallas Convention Center.
