Event spaces at the museum include the Great Lawn, the Greenwell Ethnobotanical Garden, and the 19,000-square-foot Mamiya Science Adventure Center, which can accommodate receptions for 400 and seated dinners for 300.
The Sheraton Waikiki’s Hawaii Ballroom has had a $5 million renovation as part of a nearly five-year, $187 million renewal of the property that wrapped up in February 2010. The theme is "contemporary Hawaiian sophistication," with the physical improvements extending throughout the hotel’s 45,000-square-foot indoor meeting facility.
The Waikoloa Bowl on the Big Island of Hawaii is an open-air venue with a raised stage that can accommodate 5,500 guests for a major special event. A seating area and large lawn are available for pre-function dining and events. The adjacent Queens' Gardens showcases live music and film festivals throughout the year, while the Queens' Marketplace offers more than 65 shops and eateries.
